Well, the summer is almost over. Tomorrow's Labor Day. I'm excited for autumn. My favorite holiday is Samhain and my birthday is on October 29th. Two things to look forward to. I love watching the leaves change colors and the air smells so wonderful during the fall season. It's a magical time of year. It's not too cold and not too warm which is why I love it. Usually on Sepember 29th is when I start getting into the spirit by watching tons of horror movies. During the month of October I'll watch as many of those movies as I can until the 31st. I'll start taking down my decorations [from the attic] for Halloween the first weekend of October. I have so many decorations, everything you can think of and some you can't. The week of Halloween, I usually go to a cemetary in Matawan with my dad which is about 25 minutes from my house. Yes, I find walking among the graves very calming. And supposedly it's haunted. I bring a camera with me to take pictures. We usually go in the afternoon so we won't bump into the police. My boyfriend and I made the mistake of going one year at night a few days before Samhain and got caught by the cops. The cop was nice about it at least, told us to get out of there and we wouldn't be in trouble. We never did that again. I respect the dead. It pisses me off how some troublemakers can just vandalize graves. I just go there because it's a beautiful cemetary and I like to relax by walking on the path there. Some of the graves are from the 1800's and even older. I know it sounds weird. Who would feel comfortable in a cemetary? I just feel so peaceful there.

This summer is going so fast. It's almost August already. I didn't have much time to go to the beach this year. I usually go as many times as possible but this year I only went once so far. Lammas is coming up. This year I 'm not going to do anything for it except light some incense and candles. That is, unless my friend has a ritual at her house and invites me. The last time I saw her was at Samhain. That was fun.

I'm actually surprised I actually remembered to post here.  My last post was in May.  I'm thinking of wearing my pentacle necklace to work.  I see a lot of people wearing crosses but still I'm not sure actually if I should be that blunt about wearing my necklace in public.   I'm kind of conflicted.   I can't decide what to do.   I'm going to drive myself nuts.  Actually, now that I think of it,  I really don't think I'm going to wear it to work after all.    I really don't want to be out of the broom closet  [so to speak].  

Anyway, I'm still looking for a new job.The pay at my job is lousy.  Hopefully soon I will get a job coach to assist me with finding one.   I still don't know what I'm doing at that stupid job. 

I hope everyone has a wonderful Beltane!  I probably won't be doing anything this year except maybe lighting some candles and burning incense.  Hopefully I'll get togeter with my friend who has a circle at her house. 

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Ostara!  This year I am not doing anything for Ostara.  Anyway for the people who don't celebrate it, Happy Easter.  Also Passover is coming up soon.  I forget what day but Happy Passover to all my Jewish friends.  It's really sad that I don't know the date it is on [I'm Jewish].
